CONVEYOR CONSTRUCTION
1. minimum Straight travel for the beginning of the belt: 1.5 times the width of the belt.
2. firts curve.
3. Minimum travel between counterclockwise curves: 2.0 times the width of the belt. For curves in the same direction a minimum travel is not required.
4. Minimum turning radius is 2.2(1) times the widht of the belt, measured at the inner edge of the plastic belt in the curve.
5. Minimum straight travel for the end of the band: 1.5 times the widht of the belt.
(1) In low load applications up to 2.2. In all other cases, use 2.4
Additional information:
- Belt with reinforcing links at the ends, special for high load curved conveyors, where the non-reinforced side-turn belts stay short.
